I had never been so entranced by the landscape. As an art history major, I am particularly interested in what inspires artists and how they select colour. It was ever clear to me that the imaginative colours of an artists palette are inspired by nature. Take a group through the sandy islands, and see the petroglyphs of Oiseau Rock. It was amazing!" "Over the last year I visited Oiseau Bay Resort on four occasions during two different seasons. All I have to say is "WOW! This place is a hidden gem of the Valley and I wouldn't hesitate one bit to say the World". Thanks for letting me and my friends stay at the resort. Your hospitality was beyond imagination. In the spring, the surrounding rivers and creeks were swollen and my friends and I explored the Quebec watershed via white water kayaks. To say the least the kayaking was amazing and all of my friends stated that your resort is a prime location for some of the best wilderness river running in this country and abroad. It is truly incredible how warm and cozy the cabins are...and off the grid. Making meals on the wood-fired cookstove was an great experience. The midnight full moon snowshoe excursions to the top of Bear Spot Mountain and Oiseau Rock will never be forgotten. Keep up the great work and good luck with the ice harvest. Don't fall in!
